Delicious food at fair prices, friendly service

Were on business in Northern Germany and stayed at the Schimmelreiter. I think we were the only overnight guests. Nevertheless, we got a very tasty dinner and an excellent breakfast. Thanks a lot for this. In the current tense situation, a real bright spot.

The Ausserhaus food could not be compared with the quality otherwise. It was just bad, I can't imagine that the food was made by a cook, but if it does, that's sad. Fried potatoes greasy, breading from schnitzel greasy, mushrooms and onions as wanted but not able to.

Hotel with restaurant and beer garden. Rooms sink ok, WLAN is poor and Lte with CO2 and Vodafone is also suboptimal.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, enough parking spaces! I can't judge the food as we only had a drink there.

One point is already too much. We went to the Schimmelreiter restaurant for dinner that evening. The food looked quite neat at first. However, we found out that there were dead insects in the food. We broke off the meal and called the waitress and asked for the boss. Then a lady came and said she was the boss. I spoke to her and wanted an explanation for the insects. She just said sorry that can happen and said everything was done. Since I only disagreed with such an apology, she became sloppy and said that she was not talking at such a level and disappeared. The restaurant insisted on the full invoice amount. I have the impression that the restaurant has a major hygiene problem and I will also turn on the food surveillance.

Nice country hotel quite close to the A7 up below the border. If you have been to this type of hotel before, you have also been to this. Nice value for money and you don't go hungry from the breakfast table. We give three stars as they had given us a rather murky room with noise from staff and vehicles from five o'clock in the morning.

I would highly recommend brunch, plenty of delicious hot and cold food, the service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended for cozy family celebrations! And I cannot agree with what many find annoying about rustic furnishings. It's rustic and cozy!

Was with friends for dinner in the Schimmelreiter today, we had pre-ordered a goose. And we have to give the team, service and kitchen a big compliment. The goose tasted fantastic and was carved for us at the table. The service was also great we had a great evening with you. Thank you very much 👌😊👌

Clean and efficient little place, dog friendly. Rooms are large and tidy, bathrooms well equipped.

Very pleasant welcome. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. I had a good dinner and a lot of trouble with breakfast.

Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere! The restaurant offers a touch of coziness, wooden beams on the walls and a fireplace. The menu offers many dishes from the region, with plenty of salad and vegetables. The wine list is lush and invites you to taste it. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Good, clean rooms, nice people and great food. 4/5 stars due to a realy realy bad wifi network. Hope to fix that soon.
